Professor Rohrbeck\u00a0is best known for his pioneering work on\u00a0<em>future preparedness of organizations<\/em>.\u00a0Having worked in two disrupted industries, automobile and telecommunication, he grew passionate about understanding how leading organizations use foresight to anticipate future markets and\u00a0<em>strategies that work under uncertainty.<\/em>\u00a0He has developed the\u00a0<em>Future FITness model<\/em>, which measures the ability of organizations to use foresight to drive innovation and transformation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Today, as the head of the\u00a0<em>Center for Net Positive Business<\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>at the EDHEC Business School, he runs two programs with industry partners that map sustainability pathways for decarbonizing the built environment and driving accessibility of healthy nutrition, he is a\u00a0<em>UNESCO Chair\u00a0<\/em>on Organizational Anticipation, and he serves on the\u00a0<em>World Economic Forum\u2019s<\/em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Advisory Board for Strategic Foresight.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-866\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ingegneriagestionale.it\/rsa\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Matthias-Wenzel.jpg\" alt=\"Matthias Wenzel\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ingegneriagestionale.it\/rsa\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Matthias-Wenzel.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ingegneriagestionale.it\/rsa\/2025\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Matthias-Wenzel-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthias Wenzel<\/strong> is Professor of Organization Studies at the Leuphana University of L\u00fcneburg, Germany. He examines practices of organizing and strategizing as well as their societal implications, shaping areas of research such as future-making and strategy as practice. His work has been published in journals such as the\u00a0<i>Academy of Management Journal<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Human Relations<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Journal of Management Studies<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Journal of Product Innovation Management<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Organization Studies<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes<\/i>, and\u00a0<i>Strategic Management Journal<\/i>.
