University-based entrepreneurship: determinants, outcomes, and impact

We invite submissions for a research workshop dedicated to university-based entrepreneurship including student entrepreneurship, academic spin-offs, and higher education ecosystems.

The event is part of the PRIN Project “Institutions, Education and Entrepreneurship Studies: a Novel Perspective on University Impact” (PI: Tommaso Minola, University of Bergamo).

Format

• Keynote lectures: Anita Van Gils (Maastricht University) and Einar Rasmussen (Nord University and University of Nottingham).
• Roundtable discussions (maximum 40 participants).

Eligibility

The workshop is open to scholars in entrepreneurship, innovation, higher education. PhD students and early career researchers are particularly encouraged to apply.

Submission

Extended abstracts (3–5 pages) should be sent to ilaria.cascavilla@unibg.it no later than November 3, 2025. Notifications of acceptance will be communicated by November 10.
